The R-Snow Owl also has different color variants than the regular Snow Owl.After several hours of making around 20+ procedural arks and tweaking settings I might just have an amazingly awesome set of settings that you can plug any seed into to get what most people would consider good random Arks with the only drawback is that some of the islands on the edge of the map hit the map wall.Give up on using Rexes and embrace Wooly rhinos. You dont even need to that good of stats on the rhinos and they have a much shorter raise time. Just find a decent one with base HP (4.5 - 5K) and Melee (350 - 400) and put all there points into melee. There are no explorer notes or dossiers on Fjordur. Only runes which give you a similar XP boost, and a max level increase if you find 100 (+5) or 200 (another +5). I find that kind of counter-intuitive for actual new players. Not much else of a way to find out information about the dinos without using a wiki.

The map is pretty small, but it has all four island bosses, the manticore, and Rockwell. Pretty easy rock drakes and reapers, too. I've enjoyed it so far, though I'm off to Extinction soon. I HEAVILY suggest Fjödor, it's so amazing, it has loads of biomes,ruins and DLC creatures. He recently upgraded the server so he can run 7 maps in the cluster, and he's very good about making sure everything runs as smoothly as possible.
